Bug Fixes
App on open | Checks Windows OS regional setting and warns if the date format is not set to 'd/m/yyyy'.
App on open | Message that upgrade R8.33.36 is missing allowed application to continue. It will now abort and quit.
Job Labour | When toggling the "Hourly Statement" checkbox for labour entries, an incorrect number of records was displayed.
Site History | When the Site History form is opened from the Project/Job menu, all open Project forms are closed upon closing the Site History.
Improved features
App on open | The system verifies concurrent user numbers in line with the EULA. The admin menu allows manual user logouts in case of a system crash and now includes today’s login activity.
GL Transactions | The day of the transaction date (e.g., Tuesday) now displays prominently in the form's caption. This applies to GL Make a Payment, Deposit, and General Journal forms.
Labour and Material | The project/service job labour and material transaction forms now include tri-state checkboxes, allowing users to filter and view transactions as invoiced, not yet invoiced, or all transactions.

New features
Labour and Material | A labour or material transaction previously charged to the client can now be reversed and recharged. A label is displayed on either form if it was charged to the client, providing the option to reverse this flag.
Labour and Material | The 'Review Charge-Out Items' option in the projects and service jobs menu now displays labour and material transactions not yet billed to the client. Users can now select a transaction and flag it as 'Invoiced'.
New Vendor | The GL Make a Payment form now allows you to quickly add a new vendor. Simply type the vendor name and confirm to add a new entry. Alternatively, you can display the search list to add a vendor using the traditional method.

Bug Fixes
Annual Leave | Allocating an Annual Leave HR transaction record previously considered all annual leave transactions when determining if the HR employee is entitled to annual leave in the current financial year. It now only evaluates transactions within the current financial year.
New features
Charge out rates | Client Charge Out Rates can now be set during the quote approval process. Once set, the system will prioritize fetching the Client Charge Out Rates first. If none exist, it will fetch project-specific charge out rates, and if those are unavailable, it will fall back to the default charge out rates.
Compliance: A new entity compliance check has been introduced, focusing on expired or soon-to-expire items and missing references. It includes the following verifications:
  • Key Business Items:
    • License reference and expiry date
    • Public Liability Insurance reference and expiry date
    • Work Cover Insurance reference and expiry date
  • Human Resources: Expired licenses
  • Inventory Stock Items: Renewal/servicing dates
  • Recurring Financial Transactions

Bug Fixes
CRM Maintain Flags | When the 'CRM Maintain Client Flags' form was open and client details were updated elsewhere, the form's list boxes were not refreshed. This issue has now been resolved.
GL Make a Payment | An overflow error occurred on the GL Make a Payment form when the reference number exceeded 9 digits.
HTML Emails | The description field in labour transactions shown in HTML email reports previously displayed only 200 characters. It now shows the full description as entered in the transaction.
Labour and Material | The sales invoice labour/material allocation reminder now only appears if there are labour/material transactions. It checks for transactions before displaying the message.
Library | Creating a new Library record occasionally generated incorrect record codes. The system now checks the previous and next records before automatically generating a code.
PDF Reports | The description field in labour transactions shown in PDF reports previously displayed only 200 characters. It now shows the full description as entered in the transaction.
Profit Register | The Project Register, when accessed from the Client Dashboard's Jobs tab, occasionally failed to open and display the selected job due to referencing the site ID instead of the job ID.
Quote Report | A quote variation sent via email did not include the system-configured introductory text, which is typically included with normal quotes sent via email.
Quote Report | The 'bullet points' report for quotes did not display all characters of the quote line items because the report's field was not set to 'Can grow'. This has now been corrected.
Reports | The 'Close Report' option on the report shortcut menu was not closing the report. The report now closes properly when using this option, instead of requiring the window close button.
Vendor Purchase | The 'New Vendor Purchase' form now reliably updates the header fields 'GST applicable' and 'Total excluding GST'. Previously, these fields only updated when grid values were changed or when the transaction was saved. The header now also updates when totals are entered directly.
Improved features
App on open | For convenience, the entity's name is now displayed at the top of the main menu upon logging into the application.
GL Reconciliation | The default message option on the GL Reconcile Account, when selecting the option to view the last reconciliation and whether to export the transactions, is now set to 'Yes' by default.
GL Reconciliation | The default message option on the GL Reconcile Account, when selecting to total the tagged records and view them in a separate form, is now set to 'No' by default.
HR Pay Advice | The HR Pay Advice Report has been refined and improved for better clarity and accuracy.
Job Transactions | The Job Transactions Register now allows searching by amount only.
Profit Margins | Changing the material charge-out margin for a profit now automatically recalculates all material purchases that have not yet been charged to the client.
System Categories | System transaction categories/trades cannot be deleted, turned off, or renamed if there are HR labour transactions that have not yet been payroll processed.
Vendor Purchase | The account terms for invoice dates in Vendor purchases have been expanded to include the 21-day setting.
New features
Financial Forecasting | Financial forecasting has been introduced in the recurring transaction form, enabling the export of all expense and income transactions and calculation of annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily totals.
Work Order # | The main menu's "Find a Job" search option now allows searching by Client Work Order Numbers.
Work Order # | The project and service management registers now allow searching by Client Work Order Numbers.

  • New features & improvements and minor Bug fixes

    • Quickly access to sub menus from the Main Menu
      • The main menu pages HRM, Operation and Finance have sub menus with the operation menu having two sub menus.
      • To quickly access the sub menus, simply click the main menu item again. For example, if you are currently on the Home page and want to go to Finance, click once on Finance to display the finance page and click again to display the sub menu.
    • Save a Business Purchase transaction as recurring
      • Save a general ledger business transaction as a recurring transaction including setting the periodic frequency.
      • Use a recurring general ledger business transaction, simply click the button and then select an entry from the list.
    • Store the live and test data connection details when upgrading
      • The system now stores the live and test data connection settings of a workstation prior to upgrading this workstation with the latest release.
      • Once upgraded, the new application on the workstation can seamlessly connect to your live or test data environments.
    • Delete a CRM Contact Log History record
      • The CRM contact log is available from the main menu’s marketing page. Click on Follow-up Actions and then select the client interaction. The form that will open is the CRM Contact Log History.
      • Note that the last contact log is referenced in the Follow-up Actions. When deleting the last record, the Follow-up Actions record will be deleted as well! This means that no further follow up actions are recorded for the client and selected marketing campaign!
    • Delete a CRM Distribution list entry
      • The marketing menu provides access to CRM Email distribution lists.
      • The list allows now deleting an entry.
    • Date checker on the main quote form removed
      • The date checker for the proposed job start and end dates is now triggered only when the quote is accepted.
      • The purpose of the date checker is to verify the proposed starting and ending dates of the job
    • Added functionalities for the GL Reconciliation form
      • The GL Reconciliation form provides now quick access to the task register and to display finance related in-complete tasks.
      • In addition, add a new task specifically for the in-progress GL account reconciliation or add multiple finance related tasks.
      • The GL Reconciliation form provides now also quick access to the note manager (user notes) and allows adding a new note.
      • Release 8.33.36 also added a GL Reconciliation specific help message that can be accessed from the top right-hand question mark.
    • Email task details
      • The task details can now be sent via email.
      • Open the task register and select a task and then click the button on bottom left. Note, you need to enter an email address once the email is displayed. The system enters a text string into the email address field, not an email address!
    • Search multiple GL accounts in the GL Inquiry form
      • The GL Inquiry form displays the chart-of-accounts list to the right.
      • The list allows now double clicking a header account that will retrieve and display the included transactions on the GL Inquiry form for the date range that is selected on this form.
    • Quick access to rates and tools on the HRM menu
      • The HRM sub menu provides conveniently provides now access to key HRM defaults, settings, tax rates and tools.
      • The tools allow calculating the PAYG tax and super based on a yearly amount or hourly rate.
      • The tool can also be accessed from the Finance sub menu.
    • Export all quote related data
      • The main quote form allows now exporting or importing data all quote related transactions including quantity take-offs.
      • To export the complete quote data, select and open the quote and then select the Admin menu option. In the XL Export section, select Export all quote data and then confirm the action. This generate an Excel file that will exported to the main export folder.
      • To import a complete quote dataset, the system expects the file format of an exported file. Simply point to the location of the file and then click OK. The data will be imported, and a record of the file name will be stored to prevent duplicate imports.
    • Bug fixes
      • A GL payment transacted via the inter-entity will now refresh the fin-dashboard if it is open.
      • A quick calculation check provides now feedback on tax on sales and purchases when retrieving a BAS for a given period. The check is designed to provide feedback for when transactions where flagged to not include the tax rate.
      • The sales invoice gross profit report displays now correctly the last column.
      • The entity logo is now correctly displayed in the Word document that can be generated from requests, quotes and jobs.
