What is an iAM "Account"?

An iAM App Account is an important account, such as your bank account or website account to login into Hotmail, Facebook, or Twitter. Account details require a secure place to be stored and organized, and must be readily available when you need them. Even password changes, more and more required these days, are simple, as iAM App randomly generates strong passwords for you. And yes, once they have been entered into iAM App your passwords and login details are just one click away from entering into the target application – no typing of passwords anymore!

How does it work?

You can group details of your various Accounts by using Account Types. Create account types to identify important Accounts. These accounts may have an expiry or renewal date such as drivers licence, passport, membership or insurance policies. Link an Account to a file, application, and folder; email address or website that iAM App can automatically open for you.

Does it manage Passwords?

Yes iAM App can create strong passwords that are stored using proprietary encryption; however iAM App does not automatically fill-in passwords for you. You can also allow for someone to have access to an Account but not to the password. To facilitate the regular change of passwords, a console provides an overview of how long ago passwords were created.

Is it stored in the Cloud?

NO! The iAM App data is too important and sensitive to place into the cloud! Due to hacking and spying that takes place on the internet, your computer or network is a far more secure environment. iAM App is a Windows-based multi-user client/server application that is installed on your computer or network.
